On May 28, 2021, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko together with the Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger presented a modern street lighting control system in the capital.

The event was also attended by Minister of Defenсe of the Slovak Republic Yaroslav Nad, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Ivan Korčok, State Secretary – Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic Jan Oravec, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine Marek Šafin.

“Today, I am glad to present together with you one of the components of the Smart City – our modern street lighting control system, which we, in fact, were able to implement with the support of our Slovak partners. In particular, the company Seak s.r.o, whose equipment and software we we install in Kiev, “- said Klychko.

So, since 2018, in Kiev, they began to implement the Street Lighting Control System with the ability to monitor and control each lamp separately and quickly respond to emergencies and eliminate them.

“We will continue to introduce the latest technologies in the management of Kiev – for the comfort and safety of its residents!” – said Vitaliy Klychko and thanked Slovakia for supporting Kiev in its striving to be a modern European city, and Ukraine in striving to be part of a large European family.

«I am glad that we see a real example of cooperation between Slovak business and Ukraine. And we would like to continue such cooperation. That is why I came on a visit to Ukraine. We would like large investments to come from Slovakia to Ukraine and from Ukraine to Slovakia. Today we discussed with the Prime Minister of Ukraine several industries where our cooperation could be powerful. This is the industrial and energy sector, logistics. In the coming months and years you will see the results of our cooperation», said Prime Minister Eduard Heger.
